BEACH BLANKET CANVAS by Lee-Anne

Today, I've created a burlap panel reminiscent of a beach blanket I used at my aunt and uncle's cottage every summer as a child.

STEP 1
Add clear gesso to a burlap panel.

STEP 2
Sponge archival ink through the ARTplorations Chevron Crazy stencil.

STEP 3
Stamp several different images from Mixed Media Grunge, again in archival ink.

STEP 4
Add a layer of red paint with a spatula and dry.

STEP 5
Add a layer of teal paint with a spatula and dry. Then lightly sand.

STEP 6
Add some archival ink through the ARTplorations Confetti Circles stencil.

STEP 7
Add some graphite texture paste through the ARTplorations Bold Florals stencil.

STEP 8
Randomly add some light modelling paste with a spatula.

STEP 9
Using the ARTplorations Leaf Prints stencil and some teal ink, randomly add leaves across the panel.

STEP 10
Glue on three metal plates - Fun, Bliss, Remember.

Hope you've been inspired to create something fun today!
