CREATE ART: TAG tutorial by Irit

Irit here today....hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my monthly Mixed Media tutorial made for ARTplorations blog.
Today I made a simple, but yet fancy, Mixed Media tag  . This is one layer tag, made with different mediums, lots of new ARTplorations stencils and some new STAMPlorations stamps. It's totally flat, but looks like it has a lot of texture and layers.
So let's see how to make this tag.
1. Paint your hand made tag (or use the real one if you have it) with a mix of 3 fluid acrylics for the full coverage of the cardstock.

2.Use texture paste to make one single long arrow using the new stencil called Feathers and Arrows. I used just one simple arrow from the top to bottom of this tag. Heat dry the paste to make some " bubbles" texture.

3.Add " Create art" words with the same paste and another new stencil called Fearless. Let this one air dry.

4. Add some splashes and dots using the third   new stencil- Flutters and Splatters. This stencil is perfect to use with white paint and make- up sponge.

5.Now let's stamp! I stamped the EXPLORE the unknown over the texture words and the Beyond Boundaries between the words to make the  whole title of this tag. Use some permanent ink or heat emboss the black ink if you used the pigmented ink.  Add the line from the borders set around the edges and make some black pen outlining and white pen doodling over the finished tag.I also added a bit of golden and dark red paint over the white letters and shapes.
Two STAMPlorations stamp set used here are Explore and Artsy border maker.

7.Tie the ribbons and your fancy artsy tag is done!
