ME TAG tutorial by Asmah

Hello again! It's me Asmah bringing you another fun and easy tutorial and this time I would love to share with you how I did this tag.

I used heavy drawing block paper cut into 9cm by 13cm and used gesso to cover up the front side.

While the gesso starts drying up, I painted the top with cream watercolor. I didn't wait until it is dry to gently roll the brush over several times to literally tear off the paper to achieve a coarse effect.

I just love the outcome of this technique I accidentally achieved on a project last year. Next I splashed some pink colors and let dry.

Next step is stenciling. I used Happy Flowers LARGE ARTplorations stencil to create blossoms using blue watercolors and let dry. Then I placed the same stencil just next to the blue blossoms and apply modeling paste through it.

Then I continued dripping and splashing more colors and distressed the edges. I also used Tribal Triangles ARTplorations stencil to create some triangles pattern using black gel pen.

Lastly I adhered the finished project onto a card stock, decorated with some rhinestones, gold glitter, die cut sentiment and added twine.

Well that's it for today. Thank you for visiting ARTplorations and I shall be back next month.

Happy creating.

Hugs and smiles,
