I am looking forward to reading your comments.
Yours,
it's Tanja here today and I got something real special for you: my first video tutorial.
- create a blended background on a watercolor paper tag using Distress Inks (Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door) and the Mini Ink Bleding Tool
- stamp one of the Birds from the new STAMPlorations Trendy Birds 2 stamp set with Memento Luxe (Rich Cocoa)
- cover the whole tag with clear embossing powder and heat-emboss it for shine and texture
- spritz the tag with water and dry the excess with a paper towel
- remove some of the ink throgh the ARTplorations Square Links stencil
- stamp the distressed stripes and the ink splotches from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements stamp set with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink - I did some first, second, third and even fourth generation stamping
- ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink (Black Soot)
- stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Trendy Birds 2 stamp set with the same black ink and add some white gel pen to the bold letters
- dye a piece of seam binding with the same Distress Ink colors used on the background and thread it through the hole of the tag
- add some dots with the Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paint (Gilt) and tap the tag from behind to even them out for a faux enamel dot look
I am looking forward to reading your comments.
